late, raving mad

Mr. Villar finally had time to watch this with me 😀

I absatively looove Juno! It’s edgy, youthful and well-written. No pretense- as simple as its title, the movie basically sets aside the buzz and concentrates in letting the characters do their thing. This makes you approve of everyone’s on screen presence. From the stink-eye girl, to Rollo, Su Chin, Liberty Bell, to the ultrasound technician and well, everybody! They’re indispensable. Similar to Little Miss Sunshine, Juno has a brilliant- kick-ass script; to not admire it means you aren’t human (or just old!). hahaha.

Ellen Page is a prodigy here 🙂 no one could have delivered those witty lines quite as effectively as her. Doesn’t she remind you of someone? Minnie Driver? actually, there’s a resemblance between Ellen and Jonathan Brandis. look: lookalike

dibuzz? 😀

Next step to raving: listen all day to the soundtrack!

and remember:

  • babies have fingernails 😉
  • That ain’t no Etch A Sketch. This is one doodle that can’t be undid, Homeskillet.
  • the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what-have-you. The right person is still going to think the sun shines out of your ass. That’s the kind of person that’s worth sticking with.
  • it ends with a chair 😉

  1. i saw ellen page as a guest on the david letterman show about a month before i saw the movie. she talks exactly like her character in real person. maybe that’s why she was able to deliver her lines effortless.

  2. hahaha. that’s why! but i haven’t seen her elsewhere. hmm. either way, it was hilarious. LOL 😉
